1. Copy of Original Receipt

We require a copy of your original receipt. This is to ensure that we can verify the original price you purchased the gown, the designer, and the original size. For Honest in Ivory brides (our sister store) we will have your receipt on file for you.

2. Size of Gown

We accept gowns sizes 00-32. We will want to know what size you purchased the gown as, as well as what size you believe it has been altered to.

3. Condition/Proof of Dry Cleaning

All gowns must be in “like new” or “excellent condition”, or new with original tags. If your gown has some damage from your wedding night, you will need to have them reasonably repaired. All previously worn gowns must be dry cleaned and you must show us a receipt, or have original tags attached.

4. Hem Length

We cannot accept gowns hemmed shorter than 5’3”. This means, we cannot consign your gown if you are shorter than 5’3” when you wore the gown, with your shoes on.

5. Gown Style

We currently do not accept custom gowns. Gowns from the designers below, with customizations (i.e., adding sleeves, altering the neckline) may be accepted at our discretion.

We are a tiny shop, so gowns may not be accepted if we have too many of a particular style.

The gown must be a style no older than 3 years. You’ll want to check the designer’s website of your gown to ensure the year of the style meets this criteria.
